Direct-to-Garment Printing

Direct to Garment (DTG), also known as Digital Printing, is a process using modified inkjet technology. The desired image is loaded onto a computer and then fed into the machine to be printed.

ADVANTAGES: Digital printing affords the ability to print complex, multicolored designs, photos and images; there is no minimum order requirement.

DISADVANTAGES: Because the textile inks are transparent, the DTG printer is not able to print light colored images on darker colored shirts.
